You’re not alone.

Are you feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or questioning your purpose? Do your relationships feel strained? Does work feel unfulfilling?

If any of this resonates, you’re in the right place.

I’m Trish White-McLean, a Toronto-based therapist trained in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy.

I provide a safe, respectful, and creative space for you to explore the deeper meaning behind your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

Together, we can identify patterns that may no longer serve you and work towards building a more fulfilling and authentic life.

Frequently Asked Questions

What type of therapy do you practice?

I specialize in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy, which explores the connections between your past experiences and present thoughts, emotions, and behaviours. Together, we’ll uncover patterns that may no longer serve you and work toward creating meaningful change in your life.

How do I know if you’re the right fit?

Finding the right therapist is essential for a meaningful and effective experience. That’s why I offer a free 30 minute consultation via in person, video or phone where we can discuss your needs, my approach, and how we might work together. This gives you a chance to see if we’re a good match before committing to ongoing sessions.

What can I expect from my therapy session?

Sessions are a space for open exploration, free of judgment. We’ll work at a pace that feels comfortable for you, uncovering the deeper meaning behind your emotions and behaviors. Over time, this process leads to greater self-awareness, emotional resilience, and a more fulfilling life experience.

Do you offer online services?

Yes! I offer therapy sessions both in-person (Midtown Toronto, Bayview and Eglinton) and online via secure video calls, or by telephone so you can choose what works best for you.

What issues can you help with?

I work with Adults and Adolescents facing a range of challenges, including:

  • Anxiety, stress, moods and overwhelm

  • Relationship struggles (family, romantic, or professional)

  • Life transitions, grief and personal growth

  • Burnout and work-related dissatisfaction

  • Self-esteem, gender and identity exploration

What are your credentials?

  • Registered Social Worker (R.S.W.)
